Privacy policy

We collect the minimum we need to run a dress hire service, and we don’t sell or rent your data. Ever.

1. What we collect

Your name, email, phone number, account credentials, booking and try-on history, and any notes you share with us (like sizing preferences). Payments are handled by Stripe — we never see or store your card details.

2. How we use it

To manage your bookings and appointments, take payments, refund bonds, answer your messages and — only if you opt in — tell you when new dresses arrive. That’s the whole list.

3. Where it lives

Account and booking data is stored with Supabase; payment data is processed by Stripe. Both apply industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. Access to customer data is restricted to the studio owner.

4. Cookies

We use essential cookies only: they keep you signed in. No third-party advertising trackers.

5. Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, or have your account and personal information deleted at any time — email hello@loaner.example. We’ll keep records we’re legally required to hold (like payment records) and delete the rest.

6. Questions or complaints

Contact us first and we’ll do our best to fix it. If you’re not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
